Introduction:
Indigo Industries, a premier defense contracting company, seeks a dedicated and skilled Assessor to join our team. This position plays a critical role in the testing and evaluation of advanced military systems and technologies to ensure they meet stringent operational and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing and Evaluation: Lead comprehensive testing regimes to assess the performance, durability, and operational readiness of various military systems under simulated field conditions.
Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools and software to analyze test data, identify performance patterns and discrepancies, and ensure that the systems meet the required specifications.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings from test phases, providing crucial data for decision-makers regarding the deployment and utilization of new technologies.
Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including engineers, technicians, and military personnel to align testing objectives with strategic military needs. Provide insights and integrate feedback from operational personnel into ongoing technology assessments.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the defense sector.
Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and report writing. Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Experience:
Previous engagement with military testing and evaluation commands such as the Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), or Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA).
Experience in handling classified information with potential requirements to obtain or possess a security clearance up to the TOP SECRET/SCI level.
Work Environment:
This role requires up to 25% travel, potentially including international assignments. Travel and related expenses will be reimbursed per US GSA Per Diem rates.
Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that may include remote work setups and on-site engagements depending on project requirements.
